Welcome to OZ Kennels .......

OZ kennels is a very small family  kennel all our dogs receive lots of  daily attention and love.

We have been breeding Cairn Terriers for over 25 years now ! 

All our breeding stock are  Registered AKC & CKC.

We take great pride and raise healthy, well socialized dogs and puppies. Most of our breeding stock are raised from puppies. By us raising our breeding stock from puppies we can keep a close watch on their development and temperment as they become  healthy well socialized young adults. We want to be sure every adult dog "fits" into our breeding program.

All our puppies are introduced at a very early age with grooming and nail trimming. We start at two weeks old after their eyes have opened. As we work with our puppies they develop more trust and  become very comfortable when they are being groomed. Early grooming makes it less stressful for the puppy which makes it a more pleasant experience for both you and your puppy, it can also be a bonding experience for you both.

Our Cairns are raised for the correct size between 13-18 pounds.

 Our Female Cairns are generally a bit smaller then  Male Cairns.

Our puppies are Sold  as pets with ( Limited Registered ) with no breeding rights.

We have the right to refuse to sell a puppy to anyone !

We  register our puppies  either AKC or CKC registration .

 The AKC registration would be "Limited" with no breeding rights.

Our puppies are all very well socialized with wonderful temperments and make wonderful family pets.   OZ Kennels  puppies are raised inside our climate controlled (Heat /AC ) puppy Nursery until they are ready to go to their new homes between 8-10 weeks old.

 Each puppy is examined by OZ Kennels Veterinarian twice before they leave us and are healthy. They will have their "dew" claws removed on their first Vet visit at 3 days old. Each puppy will recieve their first vaccine at 6-7 weeks old and  recieve ( 4 ) worming treatments before they are placed in their new homes. You will recieve Health Records and Registration papers with your puppy. Our puppies come to you pre-spoiled and eager to please their new family.

I am only a bark away.......... when one of my dogs need some extra special attention .

We strive to be sure each of our puppies go into good homes where they will recieve the same attention and love they have recieved with us ........the love and attention they all deserve. We  also strive to match each puppy with the proper family to be sure both our customer and puppy will be happy together !
